First of all – thank you! Your support, donations and fundraising enable us to continue our vital work.
We’ve got a few great ideas for fundraising, should you need them. We also offer a fundraising pack to help with your events/occasion, which includes CGD Society branded t-shirts/running vest, a collection tin and collateral to explain what we do/how CGD affects those that have it.

Bingo night
To run a Bingo night for the CGD Society, select a venue or host online, provide themed bingo cards, and have a caller. Include small prizes to boost engagement, and share a brief message about CGD to raise awareness. Keep the atmosphere fun and inclusive!
Bake sale
To run a bake sale for the CGD Society, choose a visible location, and ask volunteers to donate baked goods. Label items clearly, including any allergen information. Share information about CGD at the table to raise awareness, and set fair prices to encourage donations.
Car wash
For a CGD Society car wash, choose a busy location and gather volunteers to help wash cars. Set a donation-based price and provide all necessary supplies. Display banners with information about CGD to raise awareness while customers wait. Make it fun and friendly to attract more participants.
Quiz night/raffle
To organise a quiz or raffle night, choose a venue or host online. Prepare engaging quiz questions or raffle prizes, and charge an entry fee or sell raffle tickets. Include a segment on CGD to raise awareness. Keep the event fun with prizes and lively competition to encourage participation and donations.
Football tournament
Book a local field and invite teams to sign up for a donation-based entry fee. Organise matches, provide referees, and offer small prizes for the winners. Share information about CGD with spectators and participants to raise awareness. You can make it a fun, community-driven event for all ages.
Skydive
To take part in a skydive for the CGD Society, choose a reputable skydiving centre and set a fundraising goal. Promote your jump on social media, encouraging friends and family to sponsor you. Share information about CGD to raise awareness as you prepare for your dive.
