Community Fundraising and Marketing Officer

CGD Society is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive Community Fundraising and Marketing Officer. You will have experience in individual or community fundraising and can confidently develop and implement a new growth strategy to meet ambitious financial targets. You will develop long term relationships with our supporters demonstrating the value of their donations and fundraising. You will also bring experience in creating engaging fundraising campaigns. With support from our Operations and Fundraising Manager, this role will coordinate all CGDS member fundraising campaigns and communications.

Job description

Responsible to: Operations and Fundraising Manager

Terms: Permanent (on passing probationary period)

Salary: £25 - £28k Pro rata, depending on experience

Benefits: Holidays: 27 days holiday + bank holidays Pension: Min 3% taken from employee + 7% employer contribution. All work-related travel expenses covered

Contract: Part time, 15 hours per week, 2-day flexible working pattern increasing to 3 days after probationary period

Located: Homebased, but must be able to travel to London for quarterly meetings in central London with our Operations and Fundraising Manager. Occasional weekend work may be required to attend fundraising events or Trustee meetings
